Want to help organise events, design creative campaigns and bring your own ideas to the UniMelb fandom community?
Join the FAMAS team and help shape what we do this semester. Whether youâre interested in building fun events or creating the visuals and content that bring them to life, youâll have the chance to contribute your ideas and take real ownership of projects.
Weâre recruiting UniMelb students across two working teams:
Fill out the EOI for the team you want to join. Selected applicants will be invited to our group onboarding and social session in Week 3.

Choose one working team and tell us about your interests, availability and how you approach responsibility.
Weâll select applicants based on their attitude, initiative, organisation, realistic availability and fit with the available projects. Selected applicants will be invited to a group onboarding and social session in Week 3.
At onboarding, youâll hear about the projects and tasks available within your team. Youâll indicate what interests you most, and weâll match contributors with work based on their preferences, strengths and the clubâs needs. Instead of vaguely âhelping out,â youâll own a defined part of a real projectâsuch as an event activity, run sheet, poster or promotional campaign.

Have your own idea?
Weâd also love to hear about a new event, campaign or project youâd like to help bring to life. With the teamâs support and approval, you also have the opportunity to build it from the beginning.

Contributors who show consistent initiative, communication and follow-through will be encouraged to nominate for formal committee or executive positions.
Formal positions are elected by FAMAS members at the end-of-semester Special General Meeting.
